EASTER

Marianne Cotterill rounds up the brightest of the bunch in time for Easter

Whether Easter is for you a religious occasion or celebration of springtime and lighter days ahead, it’s an excuse to brighten up your home with floral wreaths and rainbow decor. Colourful tableware is the instant perk: this year I’ll have chicks made from recycled plastic bags marching up the centre of my table. For chocoholics it’s a particularly exciting time; I’ve always loved the wafer thin chocolate egg that cracks with a bite.

You can now buy delicious vegan chocolate eggs from most supermarkets and you still have time to order one of Rococo’s delicious options direct. I always think that a good cup of coffee is the best mate for chocolate. Norlo makes compostable coffee pods and offers a really swift delivery, and Mukisa is also delicious with 100 per cent of profits going to its Uganda School Project.
