As the nights draw in, get cosy, says Marianne Cotterill
The only way to deal with the pre-festive chilliness of November is to think cosy. The Danish do cocooning well, many choosing to create lovely, snug corners in their homes filled with cushions, blankets and bean bags. Danes also swear by ‘living light’ — the soothing power of a flickering candle or a crackling fire that can change a room entirely. If you can’t light a fire, treat yourself to a candle, which will fill any space with a comforting aroma.
